The Traitor's Routine

At the heart of a world where memory and identity intertwine, Sumayya's journey begins from a deadly void after losing all her memories, cast into a new life without knowing whether it is an escape from a painful past or a chance for a hopeful beginning. But fate does not grant her ease; a mysterious man named Diab suddenly appears, claiming she is Noha — his lost love — and insisting on dragging her into a dark world where love mingles with madness and longing with danger. In contrast, Seif stands as a solid shield protecting her, not knowing whether he is saving her from a past she never lived… or from a future being woven for her with bloody threads.

As Sumayya reshapes her identity, weaving the threads of a new life with Safiya and Seif, parallel stories emerge on the horizon where the boundaries between pain and redemption dissolve: Mirna, the mother fighting for her son Salim, orphaned though his father is alive, and Nermine, who strives to reclaim her son Adam after falling into the clutches of harsh choices. Amid these intertwined relationships, Hamza emerges as the voice of conscience and tenderness, and Hind becomes a bridge between families that collapse and are rebuilt anew.

The novel is not merely a narrative of love or loss, but a profound exploration of identity, betrayal, forgiveness, and the strength of women when they decide to write their own stories with their own hands. Each character carries a wound, and every encounter may be a trap or a refuge. Will Sumayya rediscover who she was? Or is the “new Sumayya” the true self? In a world that shows no mercy to the weak, memory becomes a weapon… and love a priceless danger.
