Who we are

Risha (Novels) is published on Google Play and maintained by a single independent developer (not yet a registered company). Questions or privacy requests: Yaman8da@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Account: name and email (registration required). Sign-in: email/password or Google.
  • Usage & progress: reading time and reading progress (including eligibility checks for referral programs).
  • In-app data you save: favorites and likes.
  • User content: novels and chapters you create and store.
  • Diagnostics: crash/error logs for reliability.
  • Notifications: device push token (no location or country collected).
  • Subscriptions: non-sensitive purchase data from RevenueCat / Google Play Billing (transaction ID, status, renewal dates). No card data.

No comments/reviews, no third‑party ad networks, no precise location.

How we use data

  • Provide secure core features (account, library, progress, favorites/likes, user content storage).
  • Operate subscriptions and entitlements.
  • Send service notifications and optional newsletter if you opt in.
  • Improve stability using diagnostics.
  • Show internal banner/interstitial placements to promote novels inside the app (not third‑party ads, not personalized).
  • Display simple non‑personalized home recommendations (randomized).

Service providers

  • Supabase — database and storage.
  • RevenueCat + Google Play Billing — subscriptions and purchase validation.
  • OneSignal — push notifications (device push token).
  • Internal analytics & crash reporting — no third‑party analytics SDKs.

In‑app ads & recommendations

No third‑party ad networks or cross‑app tracking. We use internal placements to promote novels inside the app, and home recommendations are non‑personalized and randomized.

Data retention

  • Account, usage/progress, favorites/likes, user content — kept while the account is active or until deletion is requested.
  • Subscription records — kept for the duration of the subscription; limited records may be retained where required by law or to resolve billing issues.
  • Diagnostics — stored for a limited period needed to investigate issues and improve reliability.
  • Backups — no external backups maintained for user data in this app.

Deletion

You can request deletion in the app. We review and delete the account within 7 days. You may cancel the request from the same page before completion.

International transfers

Data may be processed in other countries due to global service providers. When transferring data, we use appropriate safeguards and technical/organizational measures.

Security

We apply reasonable measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect against unauthorized access or misuse.

Children

Intended for users aged 13+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your choices & rights

  • Manage notifications in the app or device settings.
  • Subscribe/unsubscribe to the newsletter anytime in settings.
  • Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict/object, and request portability. To exercise rights: Yaman8da@gmail.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version with an updated effective date and notify you in‑app where appropriate.
