Delete your Risha account
You can delete your Risha account and its personal data at any time, from the app or without it.
1. In the app (fastest)
- Open Risha and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings → Edit Profile → Delete Account (or Settings → Delete Account).
- Confirm. Email, Google and Apple accounts are deleted automatically 7 days later; signing in again during these 7 days cancels the request. Guest accounts are deleted immediately.
2. Without the app
- Send an email to Yaman8da@gmail.com from the email address of your account, with the subject “Delete my Risha account”.
- Add your username if you know it. If the request does not come from the account’s address, we may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
- We delete the account within 7 days and reply when it is done.
3. What is deleted
- Your profile, email, sign-in details, reading data, favorites, points, notifications, comments and unpublished drafts.
- If you signed in with Apple, Risha’s access to your Apple Account is revoked.
4. What is kept, and for how long
- Novels you published stay available to readers under the name “Deleted author”, with their chapters and readers’ comments, without any of your personal details. To have them removed too, ask us by email.
- A record that the deletion was completed (without your email), and payment records where the law requires them.
- Diagnostics and logs are deleted automatically after 30 days; some security records are kept for up to one year. Backup copies are deleted when no longer needed.
5. Subscriptions
- Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Cancel it in Google Play, or on iPhone and iPad in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
6. More information
