Frequently asked questions
What is Risha?
Risha is a platform and app for reading and publishing novels, born in Arabic. Writers publish their original novels chapter by chapter, and readers read, follow and comment on them.
Is the app free?
Yes, the app is free and most novels are free. The premium membership is optional; it removes ads and gives early access to some chapters.
Why can’t I read every chapter on the website?
The website is a window onto the novels and shows the first two chapters of each. Full reading happens in the app, so you get saved progress, alerts and a better reading experience, and authors’ work stays protected.
Is Risha available on iPhone and iPad?
Yes. Get Risha free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, or on Google Play for Android devices.
How do I open a novel link in the app?
If the app is installed, Risha links open in it directly. If a link opens in your browser, tap “Continue in the app”.
How are novels reviewed?
Every novel is reviewed for the content rules before it is published. Novels with content that breaks them may be declined.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings, then Delete account. You can also email us.
Which languages is Risha in?
The website is available in Arabic, English, French and Spanish, and the novels are written in these four languages, most of them in Arabic.
