The Mysterious Disappearance

It was eleven o'clock at night, and the City was strangely quiet.

Layan stood at the window of her room, watching the narrow street.

Suddenly, she saw the shadow of a person pass quickly... then he vanished as if he had never existed.

On the ground, she spotted a torn piece of paper. She picked it up with a trembling hand and read the words written on it:

"You're next... soon"

Her heart began to pound hard, and she could not sleep all night.

In the morning, she noticed that her classmate Adam was behaving strangely, and her friend Sara was worried with her.

After school, she returned to the alley where the person had disappeared.

There she found the old key glinting under the faint light...
