The Day Silence Grew Heavy
It was an ordinary day... at least I thought so at first. I woke to the sound of the alarm and opened my phone as usual; the first message I always looked for before going to the school was a message from Saja; she would send me something simple every morning even though we would meet at the school. But that morning... there was nothing. At first I didn't think much of it; I told myself perhaps she had woken up late or that her phone had run out of battery. Hours and days and months passed; I didn't see her and we…
Sinopsis
I never thought that a person could be buried while still breathing.
Not with earth....
But with memories and absence and the void left by someone who was once close to you.
My name does not matter much; I am just a 17-year-old girl.
A girl who used to laugh a lot...
Before she learned how life can change in a single moment.
I had a friend named Saja; she was not just an ordinary friend,
She was like the part that completed me; we shared laughter
And secrets and little dreams that we thought would one day grow
With us, but in 2021 something happened that I was never ready for at all.
Saja left....
Since that day I have felt that something inside me was buried with her.
As if one of us had died... the other remained alive to bear the weight of memories.
And this story is not just a story...
It is my attempt to tell the world that loss does not kill us all at once,
But leaves us to live slowly with its pain.
